Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Vishwanath Pawar, the individual developer who runs Outlo ("we"). By creating an account or using Outlo you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use Outlo
You must be 18 or older, and allowed to use the service under the laws that apply to you.
Your account
You sign in with email, Google or Apple. Keep access to that sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Your documents
You own the documents and details you add. You give us only the permission we need to store them, read them (including with AI, if you turn it on) and show them back to you, so we can provide Outlo. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.
You confirm you have the right to add every document you upload, including any that belong to family members.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload content that is illegal or that you have no right to store;
- use Outlo to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- try to access other people's accounts or data;
- probe, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits or security of the service;
- resell or give others access to the service.
AI and reminders are best effort
Details that Outlo fills in from your documents (such as expiry dates) are read by AI and can be wrong or missing. Reminders depend on those dates, your device and push services, and may be late or not arrive. Check important dates yourself. Nothing in Outlo is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Plans and billing
- Free: Outlo is free up to the limits shown in the app. If you reach a limit, nothing is deleted and search keeps working.
- Pro: an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you buy. It is billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling and refunds: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue them directly.
- Price changes: we will tell you in advance, and the store asks for your consent where required.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account; this permanently erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel it in the App Store or Google Play too.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Unless the law or the risk prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your documents.
The service
We work to keep Outlo available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may change, have interruptions or occasionally lose data. Keep your own copies of documents that matter. Profile → Export all documents downloads everything.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed dates, renewals or deadlines. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Outlo in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Outlo after that means you accept the new terms.
